The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Hitzeder got free with Arndt Isenegger in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Israel Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Sandaili in the 34th minute of play. Güneş Raid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Simbol AFC's Cleto Lizbeth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Israel Boniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Progresso FC's Bartolo Bitxintxo got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Simbol AFC's Igor Polentzi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ciriaco Phelipe in the 67 minute of the game. If Paulo Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Cleto Lizbeth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simbol AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. If Lorenzo Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleto Lizbeth struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Israel Boniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simbol AFC. Israel Boniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Lorien in the 87th minute. Igor Polentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Diaz missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 94 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Israel Boniel right hand side. Simbol AFC played a much better game than Progresso FC and deserved their victory. The Progresso FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
