Humberto Ezkerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Lohitzun in the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zizu's zone, Gaudencio Teodor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Chano came out of the goal and Gaudencio Teodor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute Dalmacio Lohitzun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Ezkerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes, Clemente Esiquio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cholulo FC and the Zizu players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Gaudencio Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Vladimiro Oso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Cholulo FC's Humberto Ezkerra got control of the ball when Vladimiro Oso tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Vladimiro Oso came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Zizu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Oso couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Fermin Corderro made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Dalmacio Lohitzun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cholulo FC's Humberto Ezkerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Humberto Ezkerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Lohitzun in the 54th minute of the match. After 60 minutes, Raimundo Lucero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cholulo FC and the Zizu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cholulo FC! Casimiro Chano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Corderro, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Vladimiro Oso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zizu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiro Oso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Nuno during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Dalmacio Lohitzun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dalmacio Lohitzun fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zizu's protests and gave Dalmacio Lohitzun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cholulo FC's goalkeeper Humberto Ezkerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dalmacio Lohitzun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Humberto Ezkerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Cholulo FC got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Lucero. Wilfredo Arlo missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 89 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Humberto Ezkerra right hand side. Cholulo FC's Humberto Ezkerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Oso in the 91st minute of play. Vladimiro Oso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zizu's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
