Honorato Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vladimiro Oso came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Zizu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Oso couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Zizu's Feliciano Luzea got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 23rd minute Humberto Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Chano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cachivache F.C's zone, Dalmacio Lohitzun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Sendoa came out of the goal and Dalmacio Lohitzun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Cachivache F.C's Bernabe Sendoa got control of the ball when Anier Quintyn tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Oso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Bernabe Sendoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Casimiro Chano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmacio Lohitzun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bernabe Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Honorato Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Chano having to interfere. A collision led to Zizu getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Wilfredo Arlo hit a great ball. Casimiro Chano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Fernandez in the 58th minute of the match. Cachivache F.C's Bernabe Sendoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Oso in the 61st minute of play. If Vladimiro Oso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Honorato Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zizu's Casimiro Chano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Zizu from getting a goal against them. Bernabe Sendoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Oso, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Zizu's goalkeeper Casimiro Chano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Ferdinand. Honorato Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Casimiro Chano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Oso in the 90th minute of play forced Cachivache F.C's goalkeeper Bernabe Sendoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Feliciano Luzea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zizu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachivache F.C the free kick. In the 91st minute, Feliciano Luzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernabe Sendoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Lohitzun, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Zizu's Vladimiro Oso got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cachivache F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
