Juan Piorno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Peli in the 5th minute of the match. Saturnino Teodor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Narciso Uxio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Romero FC's Saturnino Teodor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Narciso Uxio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of LUTGARDIS RIVEROS booed when Romero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Matthew didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Saturnino Teodor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Teodor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Uxio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Narciso Uxio made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Saturnino Teodor sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Romero FC's zone, Elias Peli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Piorno came out of the goal and Elias Peli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santo Soin's late challenge caught a LUTGARDIS RIVEROS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santo Soin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Romero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Soin to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 29 minutes, Gaudencio Llope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LUTGARDIS RIVEROS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Llope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LUTGARDIS RIVEROS's Narciso Uxio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save LUTGARDIS RIVEROS from getting a goal against them. Osvaldo Matthew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Uxio having to interfere. Saturnino Teodor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 52nd match minute, Romero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mitxaut to maneuver through the defense. Saturnino Teodor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narciso Uxio having to make a save. Gaudencio Llope who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Juan Piorno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Romero FC's Juan Piorno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Romero FC from getting a goal against them. Romero FC's Saturnino Teodor got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narciso Uxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Matthew in the 70th minute of play. Juan Piorno didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1.
