Federico Rubinos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Estebano in the 41st minute of play. Luca's Americo Chuse got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, Luca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Abastas to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 54 played minutes La sangria lpc got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Mancio. Rafael Estebano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Rubinos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Andreas Papadias's late challenge caught a Luca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
