A collision led to Fulbacho Acho getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Geronimo Jerano hit a great ball. In the 8th match minute, Fulbacho Acho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Jerano to maneuver through the defense. Matias Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Umbruso having to interfere. Gogo Garaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natalio Umbruso having to make a save. In the 13th match minute, Fulbacho Acho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Karmel to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Teodosio Casomiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fulbacho Acho's Natalio Umbruso didn't even have to move. In the 16th minute Matias Mero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Umbruso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Garaona who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Natalio Umbruso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Matias Mero came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Grasshopper FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Mero couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Matias Mero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natalio Umbruso was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Gogo Garaona who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Natalio Umbruso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Matias Mero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grasshopper FC's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Kaider, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geronimo Jerano to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Justino Ferman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jaroslaw Kaider was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Natalio Umbruso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Mero, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gogo Garaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matias Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Umbruso having to interfere. Gogo Garaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Roderigo hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Fulbacho Acho's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Mero came free, but Natalio Umbruso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulbacho Acho's Natalio Umbruso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Mero in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Fulbacho Acho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Casomiro succeeded in the game's 67th minute to get real power on a long shot . Fulbacho Acho's Natalio Umbruso hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-1! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Garaona in the 71st minute of play forced Fulbacho Acho's goalkeeper Natalio Umbruso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Umbruso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Garaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Vasco's late challenge caught a Grasshopper FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervasio Vasco helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Fulbacho Acho got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Vasco. Natalio Umbruso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Garaona in the 75th minute of the match. If Matias Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Umbruso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Mero went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Jaroslaw Kaider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Jerano in the 90th minute of play. In the 96thth minute of the game Gogo Garaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fulbacho Acho's Natalio Umbruso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natalio Umbruso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Mero in the 97th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Grasshopper FC were the better team. Grasshopper FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
