When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Patricio Gaona sped through Alfonso's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alejandro Carlomagno. Patricio Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Carlomagno having to interfere. Patricio Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Marcelino Juvenal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aras Erbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Telo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aras Erbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Ledesma in the 27th minute of play. The corner led Alfonso's Damian Beltran to fire away a dangerous shot which Aras Erbay despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alejo Mannie might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Carlomagno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejo Mannie ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Ronaldinho Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37thth minute of the game Alejo Mannie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfonso's Alejandro Carlomagno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Alfonso's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Gaona came free, but Alejandro Carlomagno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Telo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Gaona to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Patricio Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alejandro Carlomagno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Pablo Yanov went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Alejo Mannie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alejandro Carlomagno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejandro Carlomagno stood somewhat misplaced when Patricio Gaona came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 63 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Alfonso's zone, Juan Pablo Yanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Carlomagno came out of the goal and Juan Pablo Yanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godofredo Ferman during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Godofredo Ferman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute of the match, Patricio Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alejandro Carlomagno saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 75th minute Janta were awarded a corner. Clemente Bertol went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Abelardo Carlomagno almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alfonso's Alejandro Carlomagno did a great save. Janta's Ciro Harkaitz was substituted for Juan Pablo Yanov. Aldo Telo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejandro Carlomagno acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abelardo Carlomagno. If Alejo Mannie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Alfonso's goalkeeper Alejandro Carlomagno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patricio Gaona. With his leg Alejandro Carlomagno managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Janta's Patricio Gaona fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alejandro Carlomagno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Telo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Janta's Alejo Mannie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Carlomagno narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
