The referee ignored Chusca FC's protests and gave Remigio Nabar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Chusca FC's Remigio Nabar got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute Fernan Fidele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Dominix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chusca FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dionisio Lando hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Maraman got free with Arnoldo Dominix in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Tiburcio Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Abilio in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amancio Muno saved Ortigol from getting behind. After having played for 28 minutes, Jeronimo Iago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ortigol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Iago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 played minutes Ortigol got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Seber. Emanuel Maraman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Arnoldo Dominix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Dominix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Iago, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Emanuel Maraman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Dominix having to interfere. If Serafino Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Maraman was the one to do the kick off. Chusca FC's Arnoldo Dominix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Iago in the 54th minute of play. Emanuel Maraman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amancio Muno was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Tiburcio Abilio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiburcio Abilio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Emanuel Maraman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Arnoldo Dominix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basilio Medardo's late challenge caught a Chusca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basilio Medardo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ortigol's Basilio Medardo got a free kick in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernan Fidele in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Dominix saved Chusca FC from getting behind. When Emanuel Maraman came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ortigol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Maraman couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Emanuel Maraman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ortigol's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Maraman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Dominix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernan Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Dominix having to interfere. If Serafino Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Alfredo Rufio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chusca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ortigol the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Basilio Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ortigol's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Medardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Dominix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ortigol had played much better football throughout.
