Embalse AFC's Santos Otsoko got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute of the match, Saturnino Fidencio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leonides Lluques saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ismael Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Kiliz having to interfere. Leonides Lluques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Fidencio in the 21st minute of the match. Fermin Enaut kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, J.J. Urquiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Piearres to maneuver through the defense. Santos Otsoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Saturnino Fidencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvio Domenec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Garaona made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Fidencio in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Lluques saved J.J. Urquiza from getting behind. J.J. Urquiza's Leonides Lluques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Otsoko in the 56th minute of play. Santos Otsoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Otsoko in the 63rd minute of play forced J.J. Urquiza's goalkeeper Leonides Lluques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Santos Otsoko came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Embalse AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Otsoko couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Embalse AFC's Saturnino Fidencio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Lluques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Embalse AFC were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after J.J. Urquiza's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Generoso Tebaldo took the corner. After a rather tough play, Embalse AFC's Igor Kaiet got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Francisco Brais sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Embalse AFC's Antonio Kiliz didn't even have to move. Ismael Garaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
