Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Astor Bladi made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Browers's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Chaime came free, but Juan Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Fabian Chaime who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Browers's Juan Bidari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Browers booed when Rio de la Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Maule didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Manuel Ledesma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Astor Bladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pascual Cresconio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Bladi in the 15th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Astor Bladi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Browers and the Rio de la Plata players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Astor Bladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Chaime recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustino Naldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Bidari came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rio de la Plata's Fabian Chaime. But to his dismay, Fabian Chaime quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Fabian Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio de la Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Chaime was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Bidari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Browers's zone, Faustino Naldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Bidari came out of the goal and Faustino Naldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Chaime in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Bidari saved Browers from getting behind. The supporters of Browers booed when Rio de la Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Maule didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Chaime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Federico Menendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Rio de la Plata's Esteban Eguntsenti broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Browers's Juan Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Chaime in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Rio de la Plata were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Chaime in the 52nd minute of play forced Browers's goalkeeper Juan Bidari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Bidari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Chaime in the 56th minute of the match. Juan Bidari was a little too slow when Faustino Naldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-3. Fabian Chaime struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Juan Bidari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio de la Plata. If Manuel Ledesma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Ledesma took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascual Cresconio. Pascual Cresconio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Pascual Cresconio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Ledesma in the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Faustino Naldo could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Juan Bidari however easily saved by the left post. Rio de la Plata's Pascual Cresconio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Ledesma in the 86th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rio de la Plata walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
