In the 10th minute, one of Médanos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Médanos. Simon Llorienzo went to the wrong direction when Emanuel Eder was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 12th minute, Lavalle's Rene Banegas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Simon Llorienzo. Simon Llorienzo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 17 played minutes, Lavalle's Arnoldo Iaki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Simon Llorienzo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lavalle reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Banegas in the 19th minute of play forced Médanos's goalkeeper Simon Llorienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braulio Marin's late challenge caught a Lavalle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braulio Marin helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Médanos got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Marin. Rene Banegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Llorienzo having to interfere. The supporters of Médanos booed when Lavalle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Fonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Médanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Marin to maneuver through the defense. Rene Banegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 45 minutes, Rene Banegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavalle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Banegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Braulio Marin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Simon Llorienzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Banegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Banegas took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Llorienzo. Simon Llorienzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Simon Llorienzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Banegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Aureo in the 94th minute of play forced Lavalle's goalkeeper Osvaldo Lehoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes of play, Médanos's Damian Aureo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo Lehoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Llorienzo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lavalle's Rene Banegas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. When the referee ended the match the Lavalle players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
