After a rather tough play, Fragueyro AFC's Artemio Goi got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Leo Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Oriol in the 6th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Fragueyro AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Gaizko. If Baltasar Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Gaizko had several of the C. A. Independiente's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Lázaro Birjaio as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee gave Fragueyro AFC a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cipriano Guilabertus, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C. A. Independiente's Lázaro Birjaio. 2-0. 25 minutes into the game, Froilan Lain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fragueyro AFC the free kick. After 25 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Lain. Jonathan Gaizko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lázaro Birjaio came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonathan Gaizko slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 26th minute. Lázaro Birjaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltasar Abel in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Gaizko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lázaro Birjaio was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th minute Fragueyro AFC were awarded a corner. Cipriano Guilabertus went to the cornerflag to take it. Fragueyro AFC's Baltasar Abel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lázaro Birjaio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 40 played minutes Fragueyro AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Gaizko. Vladimiro Gaspard kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Baltasar Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Birjaio having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Gaizko to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Baltasar Abel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Birjaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fragueyro AFC's Artemio Goi got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th match minute, C. A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Errolan to maneuver through the defense. In the 61stth minute of the game Jonathan Gaizko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Independiente's Lázaro Birjaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lázaro Birjaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Gaizko in the 63rd minute of play. Octavio Salbatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Gau having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Octavio Salbatore got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Amador Rolado hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Cipriano Guilabertus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fragueyro AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Guilabertus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Vladimiro Gaspard got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Abel came free, but Lázaro Birjaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match Cipriano Guilabertus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lázaro Birjaio skillfully saved the ball. Lázaro Birjaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Gaizko, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Independiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cipriano Guilabertus was slow to take the kick. During this time Fragueyro AFC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Cipriano Guilabertus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lázaro Birjaio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Baltasar Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C. A. Independiente's Lázaro Birjaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Gaizko in the 96th minute of play.
