A collision led to Nottingham Forest F.C. getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Godfredo Etxeberri hit a great ball. After 25 minutes of play, Pera de Goma's Anselmo Gaspard made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Matia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Pera de Goma's Anselmo Gaspard got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ovidio Eleder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Santiago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Isaias Santiago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nottingham Forest F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Angelo Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Gaspard in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Gaspard in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Matia prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Angelo Matia was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Anselmo Gaspard capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anselmo Gaspard really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 59 minutes into the match, Pera de Goma's Anselmo Gaspard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Matia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Edmundo Negri came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Pera de Goma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Negri couldn't finish the play. Claudio Berasko's late challenge caught a Pera de Goma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Berasko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Nottingham Forest F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Berasko to maneuver through the defense.
