Spectators: 7109 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 50) Lisandro Inocente started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Dominic in the 5th minute of play forced Stegmann's goalkeeper Eustacio Bernat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stegmann's Lisandro Inocente got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, C.A.Talleres's Tiburcio Indalecio got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute, C.A.Talleres's Zeledon Dominic ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eustacio Bernat. Eustacio Bernat yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Eustacio Bernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Florinio in the 20th minute of play. Justino Eriz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Eustacio Bernat made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Lisandro Inocente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stegmann's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Inocente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Juvenal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafino Semeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Juvenal having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Florinio to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Lisandro Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Juvenal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafino Semeno got free with Amancio Juvenal in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, C.A.Talleres's Amancio Juvenal got control of the ball when Serafino Semeno tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 67 played minutes Stegmann got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Fertus. Gilberto Oro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Bernat having to interfere. Eustacio Bernat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Dominic, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Stegmann's Eustacio Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Dominic in the 76th minute of play. Stegmann's Lisandro Inocente got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Paez's late challenge caught a C.A.Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Paez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stegmann's Pedro Paez got a free kick in the 87th minute. There was no doubt that C.A.Talleres were the better team. C.A.Talleres's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
