The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Honesto to strike the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elpidio Amato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Alejandro Lapurdi made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Amato got free with Alejandro Lapurdi in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute of the match Benedicto Micael shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejandro Lapurdi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the game, ZionTeam's Narciso Macias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alejandro Lapurdi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Eusebio Raulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Rios having to interfere. If Eusebio Raulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 98 played minutes, L.P. CITY's Gregorio Teodor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Denis Rios came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in L.P. CITY reached it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The L.P. CITY fans cheered their team off the field, for while ZionTeam had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
