No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

San Lorenzo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 92 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo's Celso Cordarrell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
