The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Ciénaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Feliz to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute of the match Teo Lauren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celestino Gombal skillfully saved the ball. After 7 played minutes, Saturno AFC's Cosme Sansone shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Celestino Gombal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saturno AFC reached it. When Saturno AFC's Nunez Turi in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ciénaga's goalie prevented a goal. Nunez Turi took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celestino Gombal. Celestino Gombal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Saturno AFC's Maximiliano Mundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Saturno AFC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Lorenz in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Gombal saved Ciénaga from getting behind. Anastasio Sagrario kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 27thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Saturno AFC's keeper Maximiliano Mundo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After having played for 30 minutes, Anastasio Sagrario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciénaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Sagrario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anastasio Sagrario struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Maximiliano Mundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciénaga. If Gogo Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Lleir hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Celestino Gombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Lorenz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 40 minutes, Eliseo Lorenz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saturno AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Lorenz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciénaga's goalkeeper Celestino Gombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Damian Haimar kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Anastasio Sagrario took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximiliano Mundo. Maximiliano Mundo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Pascual Federigo fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saturno AFC's protests and gave Pascual Federigo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ciénaga booed when Saturno AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Federigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Pacifico took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maximiliano Mundo. Saturno AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ciénaga's zone, Eliseo Lorenz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Gombal came out of the goal and Eliseo Lorenz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celestino Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Turi in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute Nunez Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Gergori hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes Ciénaga got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Macario. Maximiliano Mundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Sagrario, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Pascual Federigo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, one of Saturno AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saturno AFC. Damian Haimar struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Maximiliano Mundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciénaga. Ciénaga's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
