Spectators: 7380 (Terracing: 5536, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oscar Errolan got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Ingeniero Brian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Estefan to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Errolan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Aquilino Dolcet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Txomin in the 6th minute of play forced Salto FC's goalkeeper Salvador Meder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Cordarrel in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Salvador Meder, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Salto FC's Placido Orixe got a free kick in the 12th minute. Melchor Txomin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Meder having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Salto FC's zone, Teodosio Cordarrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Meder came out of the goal and Teodosio Cordarrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salvador Meder was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Teodosio Cordarrel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodosio Cordarrel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 29th minute, Melchor Txomin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Salvador Meder. The goal made the score 2-0. Salvador Meder made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Teodosio Cordarrel sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Salto FC's goalkeeper Salvador Meder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodosio Cordarrel. If Mateo Estefan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Dolcet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Errolan in the 42nd minute of play. Aquilino Dolcet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Errolan in the 43rd minute of the match. Custodio Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Custodio Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Custodio Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

After having played for 56 minutes, Mariano Txatxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ingeniero Brian's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Txatxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Teodosio Cordarrel notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Salto FC's Salvador Meder. Salvador Meder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teodosio Cordarrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Melchor Txomin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Salvador Meder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd match minute, Salto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Damario to maneuver through the defense. Placido Orixe's late challenge caught a Ingeniero Brian's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Orixe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ingeniero Brian booed when Salto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Orixe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute of the match Tobias Eliu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Salvador Meder skillfully saved the ball. In the 76th minute Teodosio Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Meder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Melchor Txomin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salvador Meder. Salto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Txomin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Salvador Meder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodosio Cordarrel's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nazario Ronaldo in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvador Meder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melchor Txomin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Salvador Meder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Teodosio Cordarrel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Meder was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Salvador Meder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Txomin, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Oscar Errolan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ingeniero Brian's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
