De Rosario pal Mundo's Denis Chepe got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Chayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Saturnino Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, De Rosario pal Mundo's Saturnino Sendoa threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Gerazan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Denis Chepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Chepe in the 43rd minute of play forced River Eze's goalkeeper Saturnino Sendoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

With a little luck, De Rosario pal Mundo's Enrique Andrada got control of the ball when Ermegildo Senon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, River Eze's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Asteri came free, but Saturnino Sendoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Enzo Asteri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Rosario pal Mundo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Asteri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saturnino Sendoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Asteri in the 65th minute of play. De Rosario pal Mundo's Enrique Andrada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save De Rosario pal Mundo from getting a goal against them. When Denis Chepe fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Rosario pal Mundo's protests and gave Denis Chepe a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to De Rosario pal Mundo getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Denis Chepe hit a great ball. If Denis Chepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Enzo Asteri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saturnino Sendoa was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Saturnino Sendoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enzo Asteri's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Enzo Asteri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Prospero Libertad came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the De Rosario pal Mundo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Libertad couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Gerazan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the De Rosario pal Mundo players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
