In the 26th minute, Huevonaso S.C.'s Rene Frichoso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rene Frichoso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Huevonaso S.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rene Frichoso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Huevonaso S.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of tempra fc:s goal. The referee gave tempra fc a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Muno couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gualterio Muno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Muno in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Nafarroa saved tempra fc from getting behind. The tempra fc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing tempra fc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
