After a defensive mix-up in Saguión AFC's zone, Luigi Bosca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Lartaun came out of the goal and Luigi Bosca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godofredo Lope who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Victor Lartaun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Guayacan AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Epifanio Basco hit a great ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Lartaun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Godofredo Lope took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Lartaun. Victor Lartaun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Cleto Argoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Saguión AFC's Laureano Urbasa got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Epifanio Basco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saguión AFC's Ismael Beltza couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Guayacan AFC. In the 94th minute Luigi Bosca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Lartaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
