Ulises Ganix's late challenge caught a C.A Carpincho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Ganix helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Ulises Ganix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timoteo Dino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Erasmo Mino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Leo Erauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Ramiro Umbruso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adam Cerocki hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 18th match minute, C.A Carpincho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Umbruso to maneuver through the defense. If Timoteo Dino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Umbruso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's Ulises Ganix got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvestre Froila took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeo Tolino. Tadeo Tolino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Ramiro Umbruso came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the C.A Carpincho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Umbruso couldn't finish the play. Tadeo Tolino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Froila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Timoteo Dino came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the C.A Carpincho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Dino couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the game, Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's Ulises Ganix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeo Tolino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. C.A Carpincho's Tadeo Tolino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Frans in the 49th minute of play. After the first half Futbol Club Rio Cuarto were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Silvestre Froila made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, C.A Carpincho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Cerocki to maneuver through the defense. Santos Cordarrell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erasmo Mino. Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's Ulises Ganix ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tadeo Tolino. Tadeo Tolino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. C.A Carpincho's Tadeo Tolino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Froila in the 68th minute of play. After 71 played minutes, Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's Anibal Frans shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tadeo Tolino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Futbol Club Rio Cuarto reached it. After a rather tough play, Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's Atilano Dalmai got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Timoteo Dino might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Mino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timoteo Dino ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of C.A Carpincho booed when Futbol Club Rio Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Dalmai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Erasmo Mino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramiro Umbruso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Mino having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Tadeo Tolino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Timoteo Dino managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A Carpincho's supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Dino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Mino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
