Lino Gurutz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ConHuevo Fc booed when PabloFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Burutzagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Gizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Ondino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Laurendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Lino Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Fernanco got free with Fernando Loren in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgard Laurendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Tiburcio Ondino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Gurutz in the 48th minute of play forced PabloFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Ondino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Laurendi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel Gizon spun around in front of the goal 52 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of ConHuevo Fc's goal. After a defensive mix-up in PabloFC's zone, Edgard Laurendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Ondino came out of the goal and Edgard Laurendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, PabloFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Ondino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Gurutz. With a little luck, PabloFC's Tiburcio Ondino got control of the ball when Lino Gurutz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in PabloFC's zone, Edgard Laurendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Ondino came out of the goal and Edgard Laurendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Gizon might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Loren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Gizon ran back to his position shaking his head. 1-0 became the score in the 80th minute when Miguel Gizon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Gerardo Laurin came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the ConHuevo Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Laurin couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute Edgard Laurendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Ondino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lino Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, Edgard Laurendi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tiburcio Ondino, 1-1. In the 97th minute Edgard Laurendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Ondino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ConHuevo Fc players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented PabloFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
