Augusto Jakes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Acuña having to interfere. The supporters of F. C. iBudweiser booed when Ferro Carapachay Oeste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Frechoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paolo Guerrero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Bittor in the 23rd minute. If Augusto Jakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Primitivo Celino fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferro Carapachay Oeste's protests and gave Primitivo Celino a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Ferro Carapachay Oeste got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Celino. F. C. iBudweiser's Remigio Belasko couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ferro Carapachay Oeste. Augusto Jakes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferro Carapachay Oeste's Fabio Acuña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Onofre in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Humberto Onofre managed to get in a good position for a shot. F. C. iBudweiser's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Onofre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Acuña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute of the match Gaudencio Millano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paolo Guerrero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Albano Martxelin lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 47 minutes into the game, one of F. C. iBudweiser:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Frechoso to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, F. C. iBudweiser's Saturnino Iraido got a free kick in the 55th minute. Oscar Ramos hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Nicolas Bittor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nicolas Bittor came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ferro Carapachay Oeste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Bittor couldn't finish the play. F. C. iBudweiser's Paolo Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Frechoso in the 77th minute of play. Celso Acevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Augusto Jakes took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Acuña. Fabio Acuña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 93rd minute, Saturnino Iraido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oscar Ramos hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. After having played for 101 minutes, Jaime Frechoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferro Carapachay Oeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Frechoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. F. C. iBudweiser walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
