To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th match minute, La Cara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Peruxu to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Abilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Maximo Jerano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Matador de Victoria could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Cara throughout the match.
