With a little luck, Republica de la VI's Cleto Sugoi got control of the ball when Dario Timo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Republica de la VI were winning 1-2.

The supporters of Villa San Carlos booed when Republica de la VI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Santio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa San Carlos's goalkeeper Inocencio Enaut, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
