In the 48th minute, Prospero Piarres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Laboulaye were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Tab was the one to do the kick off. Alpachiri FC's Prospero Piarres quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fernando Eusko, made in the 60th minute of the game. In the 63rd minute Elias Loren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alpachiri FC's Eustacio Seguinus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Alpachiri FC from getting a goal against them. Eustacio Seguinus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantino Mambru in the 69th minute. With a little luck, Alpachiri FC's Eustacio Seguinus got control of the ball when Constantino Mambru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Loren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Eustacio Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Laboulaye supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Laboulaye would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
