The audience held their breath when Delmiro Beat in the 34th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Victoriano Lopez's left hand side. After some careless play in the San Lorenzo defense, Emilio Nalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoriano Lopez. The San Lorenzo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Lopez should have stopped the shot. Norberto Cristofor hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match.
