Danilo Rufo came out of the goal and Honorato Orkatz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patron HC's Domingos Niguel got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Ramon Tallia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Rufo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Domingos Niguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th match minute, Tormenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Orkatz to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Orkatz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Leonel Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Niguel, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Alejo Bartuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patron HC were furious when Antonio Orzaize was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 27 minutes into the game, one of Patron HC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st minute of the match Tormenta SC got a corner. Patron HC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicasio Dabi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jeremias Evis kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Danilo Rufo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Tallia in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Apolo Aznar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tormenta SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Aznar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Rufo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tormenta SC's Jeremias Evis got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Tormenta SC booed when Patron HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Niguel didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorato Orkatz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenio Chago's late challenge caught a Tormenta SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Chago helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Patron HC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Arsenio Chago hit a great ball. If Maximiliano Felo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tormenta SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Patron HC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
