After 6 played minutes Los Religiosos Del Poder got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Duardo. Los Religiosos Del Poder's Roque Rito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Arce in the 9th minute of play. After some careless play in the Los Religiosos Del Poder defense, Santos Corderro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roque Rito. The Los Religiosos Del Poder fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Rito should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Cristobal Iturri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nicasio Serapio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anibal Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Pero having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Los Religiosos Del Poder's Nicasio Serapio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Candido Pero was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 23 played minutes Los Religiosos Del Poder got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Guerau. Roque Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Iturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Iturri in the 27th minute of play forced Los Religiosos Del Poder's goalkeeper Roque Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Ildefonso Guerau put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Religiosos Del Poder fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Cuñapirú. Leonel Marz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roque Rito. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Cuñapirú's zone, Nicasio Serapio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Pero came out of the goal and Nicasio Serapio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Candido Pero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Ilazki in the 39th minute. If Nicasio Serapio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Rito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Corderro, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicasio Serapio made a kick off. Leonides Arce's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roque Rito firmly grabbed it by the left post. Roque Rito stood somewhat misplaced when Santos Corderro came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 57 minute. 60 minutes into the match, Los Religiosos Del Poder's goalkeeper Roque Rito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristobal Iturri. A collision led to Los Religiosos Del Poder getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Nicolas Guillelme hit a great ball. A collision led to Cuñapirú getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eleuterio Ritchie hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Cuñapirú's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Serapio came free, but Candido Pero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Los Religiosos Del Poder fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Los Religiosos Del Poder's Nicasio Serapio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 75 minutes, Nicasio Serapio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Religiosos Del Poder's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Serapio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Los Religiosos Del Poder's Roque Rito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Iturri in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Nicasio Serapio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Religiosos Del Poder's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicasio Serapio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Pero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anibal Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Nicasio Serapio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 played minutes Los Religiosos Del Poder got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Bernebe. Cristobal Iturri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Roque Rito made a huge save. Nicasio Serapio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Candido Pero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Although Los Religiosos Del Poder had been in control for most of the match, Cuñapirú still came away with the win.
