But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Gomez couldn't finish the play. After 13 played minutes Alote F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Quilo. Leopoldo Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Victoriano Frederico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Gomez in the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Alote F.C.'s zone, Leopoldo Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Frederico came out of the goal and Leopoldo Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Gomez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Victoriano Frederico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victoriano Frederico came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by The Dark Team's Leopoldo Gomez. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Gomez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Victoriano Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Gomez in the 39th minute of the match. Leopoldo Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Iratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Erroman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Frederico having to interfere.

The wind increased when Alejo Vasco made the kick off in the second half. Victoriano Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Gomez in the 52nd minute of play. Iker Efren charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iker Efren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joel Hibai shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The Dark Team's Ceferino Arotza suffered a concussion after 65 minutes and had to leave the field. Isaias Marz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Victoriano Frederico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Erroman, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Casimiro Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Victoriano Frederico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Marcial Ordono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alote F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Ordono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Iratze received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victoriano Frederico came out and tried to block the shot, but Omar Iratze slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 80th minute. Leopoldo Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Frederico having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Omar Iratze managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Dark Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Iratze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Frederico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Omar Iratze fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Dark Team's protests and gave Omar Iratze a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, Leopoldo Gomez made a precise shot to the right of Victoriano Frederico. Alote F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The Dark Team played a much better game than Alote F.C. and deserved their victory. The Alote F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
