After a defensive mix-up in Que lo parío Fobal Club's zone, Faustino Rafe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Eduino came out of the goal and Faustino Rafe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eloy Txindoki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Oso having to interfere. Paulo Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Silvestre Oso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Starship Troopers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Giraldo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Txindoki in the 25th minute of play forced Starship Troopers's goalkeeper Silvestre Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnoldo Gartxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Giraldo charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Giraldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Starship Troopers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Giraldo to maneuver through the defense. Starship Troopers's Silvestre Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Txindoki in the 38th minute of play. Eloy Txindoki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Matai to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Ildefonso Matai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Que lo parío Fobal Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Matai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Que lo parío Fobal Club getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ruben Ariando hit a great ball. Ildefonso Matai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Berdaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Starship Troopers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Que lo parío Fobal Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Starship Troopers's Maximiliano Berdaitz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes, Que lo parío Fobal Club's Martin Senen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvestre Oso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Que lo parío Fobal Club reached it. Silvestre Oso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Txindoki went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ildefonso Matai in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Oso saved Starship Troopers from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Que lo parío Fobal Club's Eloy Txindoki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvestre Oso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Romeo Giraldo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Starship Troopers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Giraldo couldn't finish the play. If Arnoldo Gartxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Que lo parío Fobal Club's Eloy Txindoki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Oso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Eloy Txindoki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ruben Ariando hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
