The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Jenaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ariel Xabier was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. If Tomás Seguinus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Seguinus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Retrogrados F.C's Javier Paz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Adan Sayveon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Sadurni skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Retrogrados F.C's zone, Anselmo Sanchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Sadurni came out of the goal and Anselmo Sanchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorio Paublo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ariel Xabier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Retrogrados F.C. In the 41st minute, Adan Sayveon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Retrogrados F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LS Football Club were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Seguinus to strike the kick off in the second half. Severino Sadurni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Seguinus, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The supporters of Retrogrados F.C booed when LS Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Frederico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Florin, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 93rd minute Osvaldo Jenaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Xabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Victorio Paublo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
