Romeo Feo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Gorri in the 21st minute of play forced Tinoco's goalkeeper Humberto Artaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teo Perfecto got free with Humberto Artaldo in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marciano Gorri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Artaldo having to make a save. Pastor Ostargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Romeo Feo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Eloy Lehoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cymbaline's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tinoco the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Eloy Lehoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldo Harkaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Feo having to interfere. Humberto Artaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Gorri in the 37th minute of play. After 46 minutes of play, Tinoco's Aldo Harkaitz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeo Feo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Marciano Gorri made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Pastor Ostargi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tinoco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Ostargi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximo Dimo during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cymbaline getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Maximo Dimo hit a great ball. Pastor Ostargi might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Feo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Ostargi ran back to his position shaking his head. Teo Perfecto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pastor Ostargi got in the 68th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Romeo Feo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Romeo Feo made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Pastor Ostargi sent off a good shot on target. If Marciano Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliberto Escobar during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 74 minutes into the game, one of Tinoco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Cymbaline. Froilan Salvidor stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Humberto Artaldo. 1-2. Romeo Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Elorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes Cymbaline got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Salvidor. In the 90th minute Aldo Harkaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cymbaline getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Eloy Lehoi hit a great ball. When Pastor Ostargi came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Tinoco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Ostargi couldn't finish the play. The Tinoco players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
