After a rather tough play, Los Gigantes's Bartolo Costante got a free kick in the 15th minute. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Zeledon Sanchez sped through Cymbaline's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romeo Feo. 29 minutes into the match, Cymbaline's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Costante came free, but Romeo Feo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zeledon Sanchez came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Los Gigantes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Sanchez couldn't finish the play. Bartolo Costante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Romeo Feo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-3 became the score in the 45th minute when Bartolo Costante elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Romeo Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Montel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolo Costante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Feo having to interfere. Los Gigantes's Zeledon Sanchez got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cymbaline's Romeo Feo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Cymbaline from getting a goal against them. Zeledon Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Romeo Feo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Robustiano Rafel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marciano Gorri came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Cymbaline fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Gorri couldn't finish the play. Bartolo Costante struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Romeo Feo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Gigantes. Romeo Feo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Zeledon Sanchez sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cymbaline's goalkeeper Romeo Feo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zeledon Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Feo having to interfere. Zeledon Sanchez got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-4 in the right cross in the 90th match minute before Romeo Feo had time to react. Los Gigantes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
