Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rolando Rosario started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 7 minutes, Segundo Avellaneda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bahía é Carnaval and the Napoleón players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Napoleón booed when Bahía é Carnaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Francho having to interfere. Rolando Rosario had several of the Bahía é Carnaval's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Jorge Francho as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bahía é Carnaval's Jorge Francho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Bahía é Carnaval from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Rosario got free with Jorge Francho in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Danilo Montel made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Tonete. Napoleón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Marcial Tonete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Montel in the 30th minute of play. Danilo Montel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Tonete having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Rosario got free with Jorge Francho in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danilo Montel was the one to do the kick off. Rolando Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Napoleón's attack was well implemented in the 55th minute, but when Rolando Rosario was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Hernan Raymond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Francho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Rolando Rosario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Raymond in the 64th minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Jorge Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Bahía é Carnaval's Danilo Toli seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Danilo Toli the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bahía é Carnaval protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Danilo Toli had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Bahía é Carnaval:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Napoleón:s goal. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Napoleón. Hernan Raymond stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jorge Francho. 2-1. When Honorato Guerau fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahía é Carnaval's protests and gave Honorato Guerau a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Guerau. In the 72nd minute of the match Honorato Bibiano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Francho skillfully saved the ball. In the 73rd minute, Angel Bartolome made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Tonete. Napoleón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After some careless play in the Bahía é Carnaval defense, Rolando Rosario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Francho. The Bahía é Carnaval fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Francho should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Rosario in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Francho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th match minute, Bahía é Carnaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Bilbo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bahía é Carnaval's zone, Rolando Rosario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Francho came out of the goal and Rolando Rosario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hernan Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Francho having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Napoleón players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
