When Cristo Turi fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TALLERES's protests and gave Cristo Turi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to TALLERES getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Cristo Turi hit a great ball. After 4 minutes, Christian Frances mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Redondo and the TALLERES players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of TALLERES booed when Redondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 5 in the game by Lino Ciano from a close distance when the talented Cornelio Telesforo managed to make a qualified save. Redondo's players were relieved. Lino Ciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornelio Telesforo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Eleder in the 10th minute of the match. TALLERES's Tiburcio Eleder got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Redondo's zone, Tiburcio Eleder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Telesforo came out of the goal and Tiburcio Eleder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiburcio Eleder received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cornelio Telesforo came out and tried to block the shot, but Tiburcio Eleder slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. The supporters of TALLERES booed when Redondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Lugo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Weterio in the 27th minute of play forced TALLERES's goalkeeper Adriano Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Telesforo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Reynoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lino Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiburcio Eleder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 62 played minutes TALLERES got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Eleder. In the 65th minute, Lino Ciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 played minutes Redondo got a freekick which was hit by Christian Frances. Lino Ciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 74 minutes of play, TALLERES's Tiburcio Eleder made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Telesforo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lino Ciano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Telesforo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Eleder in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Telesforo saved Redondo from getting behind. If Tiburcio Eleder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Ciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Telesforo having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the TALLERES players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
