Melchor Ariando was a little too slow when Alvaro Etxekopar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 13th minute, Amanao AFC's Alvaro Etxekopar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, Alvaro Etxekopar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Melchor Ariando, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Amanao AFC's Eliseo Mikelats slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Melchor Ariando. That made the score 4-0 after 21 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, La Academia Rivadaviense's Elpidio Valente got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Ismael Oto fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amanao AFC's protests and gave Ismael Oto a yellow card for diving instead. Ismael Oto hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Melchor Ariando made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Abelardo Sidro sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to La Academia Rivadaviense getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Felix Quintan hit a great ball. Alvaro Etxekopar scored 5-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melchor Ariando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amanao AFC's Cipriano Henrico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Quintan in the 46th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Amanao AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Valery. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

If Abelardo Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Jerrald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cipriano Henrico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Ariando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mikelats in the 57th minute of the match. The La Academia Rivadaviense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 78 minutes into the match, La Academia Rivadaviense's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Etxekopar came free, but Melchor Ariando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Etxekopar in the 84th minute of play forced La Academia Rivadaviense's goalkeeper Melchor Ariando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Mikelats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Ariando having to interfere. Amanao AFC's Eliseo Mikelats got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The long shot by Abel Cordarrel in the 93rd minute really tested Cipriano Henrico's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Erubiel Buinton's late challenge caught a La Academia Rivadaviense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Buinton helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Amanao AFC's Erubiel Buinton got a free kick in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that Amanao AFC were the better team. Amanao AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
