Agustin Chorache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, DEPORTIVO RAYA's Ricardo Dalmau dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 16th minute, DEPORTIVO RAYA's Nemesio Berenguer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fidel Prejun. Fidel Prejun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ignacio Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. DEPORTIVO RAYA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Medardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Prejun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicanor Belarmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Chorache, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, DEPORTIVO RAYA's Cesar Abar got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 32nd minute, Agustin Chorache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicanor Belarmo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a rather tough play, Estrella Feroz's Remigio Bembe got a free kick in the 34th minute. Agustin Chorache took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicanor Belarmo. Nicanor Belarmo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Nicanor Belarmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Olando in the 41st minute of play. When Agustin Chorache came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Estrella Feroz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Chorache couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute of the match, Nemesio Berenguer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fidel Prejun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agustin Chorache was the one to do the kick off. Fidel Prejun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Berenguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Agustin Chorache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Agustin Chorache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Nemesio Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Chorache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Estrella Feroz defense, Nemesio Berenguer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Prejun. The Estrella Feroz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Prejun should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Chorache in the 78th minute of play forced DEPORTIVO RAYA's goalkeeper Nicanor Belarmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Berenguer in the 81st minute of play forced Estrella Feroz's goalkeeper Fidel Prejun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Olando got free with Nicanor Belarmo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Dalmau hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Estrella Feroz's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
