In the 8th minute, one of Deportivo Llorente:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Llorente. When Benedicto Berenguer fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Llorente's protests and gave Benedicto Berenguer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Llorente's Benedicto Berenguer got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Jonatan Francho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicasio Dei was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, Deportivo Llorente's goalkeeper Nicasio Dei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Francho. In the 20th minute Marcos Inguma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Francho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Nicasio Dei made a huge save. If Maximiliano Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luisito Oidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Rumaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Nicasio Dei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonatan Francho in the 38th minute. When Marcos Inguma came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Deportivo Claro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Inguma couldn't finish the play. Deportivo Claro's Luisito Oidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Cordairo in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roque Cordairo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Francho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Nicasio Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Llorente booed when Deportivo Claro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Oinatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisito Oidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roque Cordairo's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 69th minute Marcos Inguma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Marcos Inguma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Deportivo Llorente's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Inguma came free, but Nicasio Dei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Marcos Inguma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Inguma struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Nicasio Dei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Claro. After some careless play in the Deportivo Claro defense, Maximiliano Rumaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisito Oidor. The Deportivo Claro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisito Oidor should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Jonatan Francho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicasio Dei was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Marcos Inguma notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Deportivo Llorente's Nicasio Dei. Nicasio Dei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Deportivo Claro's Jonatan Francho got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Inguma in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Dei prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
