Spectators: 7266 (Terracing: 5451, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaudencio Faro kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Vipos's Antonio Roma got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Mauro Quinten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 29th minute, Navia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ariel Odon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Navia's Honorio Todor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Navia from getting a goal against them. Vipos's Mauro Quinten was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Navia's Saverio Abeijon got a free kick in the 36th minute. Vipos's Mauro Quinten got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ariel Odon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ariel Odon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Honorio Todor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorio Todor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Quinten in the 46th minute of the match. Honorio Todor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Quinten, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

53 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Faro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guillermo Barros Schelotto. Gaudencio Faro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saverio Abeijon during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Ariel Odon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorio Todor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A hard shot 62 in the game by Gonzalo Matthew from a close distance when the talented Guillermo Barros Schelotto managed to make a qualified save. Vipos's players were relieved. Gaudencio Faro struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Guillermo Barros Schelotto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Navia. In the 66th minute Saverio Abeijon suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 66 minutes, Anastasio Gustau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vipos and the Navia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Vipos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Gustau to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Matthew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Barros Schelotto having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Gaudencio Faro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Honorio Todor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Quinten in the 77th minute of play. Honorio Todor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Odon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Mauro Quinten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vipos's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Quinten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Todor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Odon in the 81st minute of play forced Navia's goalkeeper Honorio Todor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Odon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Cristo Eskuin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ariel Odon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, Navia's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Quinten came free, but Honorio Todor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vipos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Navia for a fine match.
