After having played for 3 minutes, Octavio Osmundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drogocop Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Osmundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 3 minutes into the match, Vipos's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Osmundo came free, but Guillermo Barros Schelotto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Mauro Quinten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romulo Cebo. Mauro Quinten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 10 played minutes Drogocop Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Roque Rojelio. After a rather tough play, Drogocop Futbol Club's Dante Toro got a free kick in the 11th minute. Ariel Odon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Romulo Cebo 16 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Drogocop Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Quinten came free, but Romulo Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Barros Schelotto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Osmundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ariel Odon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Odon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Romulo Cebo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dante Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Vipos's Mauro Quinten in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drogocop Futbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 43rd minute, when Vipos's Rodolfo Arruabarrena after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Romulo Cebo in Drogocop Futbol Club's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. A collision led to Drogocop Futbol Club getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dante Toro hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Quinten was the one to do the kick off. Guillermo Barros Schelotto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Romulo Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Odon in the 66th minute of play. Guillermo Barros Schelotto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from David Gitano. Ariel Odon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vipos getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Claudio Tapia hit a great ball. Guillermo Barros Schelotto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Osmundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Quinten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Vipos booed when Drogocop Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Ponc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Ariel Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vipos had played much better football throughout.
