Ricardo Giro hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Furia XeneiZe's zone, Serafin Osmundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Garcia came out of the goal and Serafin Osmundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Nardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Gabirel in the 18th minute of play. Aldo Nardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Escobar went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the match, C. A. Ituzaingo's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Escobar came free, but Aldo Nardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Nardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, C. A. Ituzaingo's Elpidio Columbo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Zacarias Fernanco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furia XeneiZe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Fernanco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldo Nardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Goyo in the 33rd minute of the match. Aldo Nardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Gabirel in the 34th minute of play. Clemente Gabirel struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Aldo Nardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furia XeneiZe. After 41 minutes, Teofilo Ereinotz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Ituzaingo and the Furia XeneiZe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aldo Nardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Gabirel, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Clemente Gabirel took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldo Nardo. Aldo Nardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Gabirel to make the kick off. C. A. Ituzaingo's Aldo Nardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Gabirel in the 52nd minute of play. If Severino Sanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Clemente Gabirel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Nardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Columbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C. A. Ituzaingo were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Furia XeneiZe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Severino Sanson took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Severino Sanson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baldomero Garcia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Silverio Goyo charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silverio Goyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silverio Goyo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, C. A. Ituzaingo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Esiquio to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Gabirel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Furia XeneiZe's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 74th match minute, C. A. Ituzaingo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Esiquio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of C. A. Ituzaingo booed when Furia XeneiZe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Fernanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomero Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Columbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 88th minute, Clemente Gabirel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clemente Gabirel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Aldo Nardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Sanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
