After a defensive mix-up in excursio fc's zone, Enrique Roderigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Eron came out of the goal and Enrique Roderigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. excursio fc's Edgardo Eron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Marquez in the 8th minute of play. Paulo Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Edgardo Eron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Paulo Machado came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Oeste FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Machado couldn't finish the play. After having played for 13 minutes, Cleto Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oeste FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermengildo Bingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Vachon in the 19th minute of the match. Paulo Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Eron having to interfere. Paulo Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Eron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Roderigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Dalmacio Gasteiz hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

54 minutes into the match, Oeste FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Menendo came free, but Hermengildo Bingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Marquez's late challenge caught a excursio fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Marquez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Oeste FC's Cleto Marquez got a free kick in the 56th minute. Cleto Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Benicio Maurino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oeste FC's Cleto Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. excursio fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Paulo Machado scored to the left of an out of position Edgardo Eron, making the score, 0-1. Hermengildo Bingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Ezkerra in the 72nd minute of the match. Edgardo Eron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Machado's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. If Cleto Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Oeste FC defense, Hipolito Ezkerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermengildo Bingen. The Oeste FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermengildo Bingen should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Menendo in the 89th minute of play forced Oeste FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Bingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Eron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Machado in the 95th minute of play. excursio fc succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Oeste FC had controlled the match.
