Calabacercio FC's Paulo Ezkerra got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cayetano Eneto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Ezkerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Ekhi in the 19th minute of play forced Calabacercio FC's goalkeeper Einar Kutsar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. One of Calabacercio FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of River Plate:s goal. Paulo Ezkerras short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Cayetano Eneto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. From close distance Paulo Ezkerra pressed in the 3-4 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 97 minutes into the game. The Calabacercio FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
