Alvaro Domingues's late challenge caught a La Polenta Taragnarock's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Batavia FC's Alvaro Domingues got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Enzo Felipillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Tajo having to interfere. Pastor Ilazki might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Ramond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Ilazki ran back to his position shaking his head. Camilo Tajo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgilio Gombal in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, La Polenta Taragnarock's Marek Kaňuk got a free kick in the 40th minute. Nicolas Ramond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Caton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
