The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tablada. The referee gave Leopardi Team a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Guaberto Vistruario, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tablada's Manuel Nesto. 1-0. In the 8th minute, Celso Gonzalez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Eli during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tablada's Augusto Eli got a free kick in the 9th minute. Eustacio Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Montay having to interfere. Martin Katia struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Leopoldo Montay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tablada. Eustacio Valiente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Eustacio Valiente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tablada's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Valiente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Montay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Eustacio Valiente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Montay was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Sandalio in the 38th minute of play forced Leopardi Team's goalkeeper Leopoldo Montay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Israel Sandalio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Leopoldo Montay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paolo Iago to strike the kick off in the second half. Tablada's Manuel Nesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Iago in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Leopardi Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Pello to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Montay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Valiente in the 61st minute. If Paolo Iago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manuel Nesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A collision led to Leopardi Team getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Eriberto Timo hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Tablada's Mateo Ixona broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Iago in the 75th minute of play forced Tablada's goalkeeper Manuel Nesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eustacio Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Iago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Israel Sandalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tablada booed when Leopardi Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Nesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Ixona was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Tablada's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Iago came free, but Manuel Nesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Nesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Gonzalez in the 94th minute of the match. Tablada played a much better game than Leopardi Team and deserved their victory. The Leopardi Team players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
