Manantiales's Gaspar Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Romildo in the 4th minute of play. Gaspar Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Matro, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13th match minute, Manantiales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Tavio to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Romildo took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaspar Frechoso. Gaspar Frechoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Newelľs Carajo! booed when Manantiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 59 minutes on the clock, Abelardo Alfonso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Newelľs Carajo! fully deserved thier win.
