Fogonero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Pichu F.C. the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Cesario in the 22nd minute of play forced Fogonero's goalkeeper Jonathan Gipuzkoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 99th minute, El Pichu F.C.'s Alonzo Cesario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Gipuzkoa. Jonathan Gipuzkoa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. El Pichu F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
