In the 12th minute of the match Clemen´s For Ever got a corner. Colana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enzo Cambiasso ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Amadeo Laurendi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jairo Montrel's late challenge caught a Colana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Montrel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Clemen´s For Ever's Jairo Montrel got a free kick in the 21st minute. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Teo Bertin took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Viriato Lessa to make any attempt to save it. 28 minutes into the match, Colana's goalkeeper Viriato Lessa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Velasco. Jairo Montrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Enzo Cambiasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jairo Montrel made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Jairo Montrel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viriato Lessa. Colana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Montrel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jairo Montrel struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Froilan Abechuco sped through Clemen´s For Ever's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denis Euloxu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Ermano in the 88th minute of play forced Clemen´s For Ever's goalkeeper Denis Euloxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Velasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viriato Lessa having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clemen´s For Ever fully deserved thier win.
